Rolfe's bike "Stan" ( or Satan as his wife calls it) and Caroline, the "other" love in my life.

My great friend Rolfe bought a bike at auction a few weeks ago to try and keep himself interested in living here in WA. (a Hyosung 650) Rolfe and his family moved here from Tasmania a while back and he misses the mountains, forests and ability to get away from it all bushwalking whenever he wanted. He is also the most awesome nature/landscape photographer and stained glass craftsman I've ever seen. (if I'm able to I will post some of his work...it's stunning).
Unfortunately there is just not enough work in Tasmania at the moment.

He finally got it licensed yesterday so we've been able to go for a short ride today. I'm still looking after my neck and not pushing it.
I do hate the fact that he has a cheap helmet though so my wife and I have decided to buy him an Arai. I've just got my Arai profile and love it. A new set of proper gloves wouldn't go astray either.

Be good to your friends. You don't get many in this life. Money is made round to go around. Arai helmets and carbon-reinforced gloves may cost a week's salary, but your friends are worth a lifetime.
